The CODA Project
Objective: The CODA Project is responsible for the special education child count in Indiana, and supports 85+ locations around the state. Without a website they used the USPS to communicate with all locations. They wanted a website to centralize communications and the ability to provide the sites with software updates, application support, and file exchange functions.
Solution: By designing a site that is quick loading and easy to navigate the outlying sites have convenient access to current information provided by the central office. I used the CMS Modx to allow content to easily be updated without having to update the HTML pages. By adding a download section the sites have the ability to get application updates without having to wait for the mail. The upload/download section makes it easy for the sites to exchange data with the central office and avoid spam filters.
Results: The website has made it easier for The CODA Project to get information and application updates to the sites. This has helped eliminate some of the extra site visits made by the state consultants.
